I believe that phase one of Thomas Friedman's "flat world" was data gathering. Now is the really exciting part: applying that data to solve problems on a global scale.
I don't know if there's a job title for this one, but I have big ideas. These could be for books, movies, businesses, taglines, logos, inventions, songs. When focused, they can be really valuable.
