Mid-market GCs do not fail because they cannot build. They fail operationally — ten to thirty concurrent jobs, status trapped in texts and spreadsheets, and the owner only learns a job is in trouble when the client calls.

One live list of every task on every job — who owns it, when it is due, and whether it is done — so a general contractor running a dozen jobsites stops flying blind without adopting enterprise software.

Procore and Buildertrend exist and get abandoned because they are heavy, expensive, and field teams will not use them. MPL is the operational command layer between field chaos and office clarity: Company → Jobs → Tasks → Views. The owner opens one screen and sees which jobs are green, amber, or red. The super opens a phone, sees only their work, and taps status. A person / workload lens answers what anyone owes across every job without five text threads.

Honest scope is a feature. MPL complements QuickBooks; it does not try to replace money and plans. Buyers who need Procore-depth modules are not the ICP. The product was proven with a paying residential / light-commercial GC on a private production tenant that is not linked or shown here. The public MPL demo is the shareable surface — sample data only. The resale platform is a deliberate strangler rebuild — same product model, real auth, isolated data — so new customers never touch Sheets.
